Scrap/sheet

Privacy Policy

Scrapsheet is a static website. Reading it does not require an account, and we do not run advertising networks or behavioural ad tracking on the pages. The single third-party script is Google Analytics 4, covered under Analytics below.

What we collect

If you submit your email address in the "work order" box, we store it to send the updates you asked for and nothing else; every message carries an unsubscribe link and using it deletes the address. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to resolve it. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and capacity purposes and rotates them on its own schedule.

Links marked as affiliate links pass through a redirect on this domain (/go/) to the marketplace's site. The marketplace may set its own cookies and record that you arrived from Scrapsheet; that is how a commission is attributed. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what happens after you leave. Plain links to sources (Facepunch, Steam, third-party trackers) carry no tracking from us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, run by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd., to see which price sheets get read. It records pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location down to city or country, device and browser type, and session timing. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled, which means the data is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a banner asks before anything is measured, and nothing is sent to Google unless you click Accept. Outside those regions analytics is on by default and you can switch it off at any time. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out.

Change your analytics choice whenever you like. Google's privacy policy governs Google's side of the processing, and Google's opt-out add-on disables Google Analytics in your browser.

Cookies

The only cookies Scrapsheet sets are Google Analytics 4's first-party _ga and _ga_<ID>. They last up to two years and appear only after analytics is allowed. Your analytics choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key analytics-consent, not in a cookie, and your browser may keep ordinary caches of the pages and images.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
